What is YOUR favorite part of TGS? (A contest!)
It seems that just about everyone who reads TGS has a favorite part of the book (or two, or three.) So we thought we’d run a little contest so y’all can share your thinking on the best part of the book with other readers.
This is how it will work: Just write a comment here, on this post, in 200 words or less, explaining which part of the book you lied best, and why. Every two weeks, we’ll pick our favorite, and send the lucky writer a free copy of the heritage first edition of Laila El-Haddad’s amazing, intimate, and fast-paced book, Gaza Mom: Palestine, Politics, Parenting, and Everything In Between. (If you already have Gaza Mom, we’ll make a substitution. But really, the two books do go together very well!)
So now, it’s over to you. All contributions welcome!
(We thought you might like the above photo from the boo. It shows Miko’s dad, Gen. Matti Peled, on the right, during one of his clandestine meetings with Yasser Arafat’s envoy, Dr. Issam Sartawi. But it is not intended to steer your thinking in your contributions here!)
