Miko Goes Viral

October 21, 2012

You may have seen recently on Just World Book’s Newsfeed that The General’s Son is second only to Gandhi’s autobiography in Amazon’s “War and Peace” section and has really shot up the charts with his speaking tour.  In another sign of his growing prominence as a speaker about the important issues facing Israel and Palestine, a video posted on YouTube of Miko’s October 1 lecture in Seattle has gone viral with over 25,000 views to date, being reposted on dozens of blogs and message boards. Fortunately for his fans in the US, he has plenty of appearances lined up in the coming weeks and months across the country–check the calendar to the right for details.

This man’s courage is inspirational. The courage of one’s willingness to submit to the truth, rather than deceiving himself into believing all sorts of explanations, justifications and excuses. I can not imagine the pain he must have endured and the agony he had to go through during this journey of discovery and transformation, given his background and
    family upbringing.

Thank you for standing up against Palestinian oppression in such an eloquent way as an Israeli and as the son of a well known Israeli general at that! The Western media is so one-sided, no one realizes what is actually happening to the Palestinian people. Your campaign is a literally vital to Palestinians and to peace between us, human beings.

Please keep me informed regarding future talks by Miko, especially in CA (Bay Area), PA, and NJ. The truth needs to get out.
